I had some fun today and made a new comical video. It’s an impersonation of Gollum (aka Smeagol) from The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings. I decided to make Gollum sing “Every Breath You Take” by Sting since the lyrical content seemed to perfectly fit Gollum’s obsession with The Ring!

Gollum is by far my favorite character in the movies. Andy Serkis created such an intriguing character with his work! To make a character out of CG as deep and impactful as he did was a monumental task and he absolutely NAIED it! It was fun to dig in and figure out what vocalizations he did to make each sound. This video doesn’t show off the more subtle dialogue effects since it didn’t really fit the material though…

It was fun to be completely ridiculous for a change and not take something so seriously. I hope it makes you laugh a bit and brightens up your day.

Hey there internet,

I’m sure by now you have heard the Gnesa song called “Wilder”. I think it went viral even faster than Rebecca Black’s “Friday”!

Well, I heard this song the other day and took it upon myself to make it into a beautiful acoustic guitar cover. It’s just something I like to do in my spare time

I took a few liberties with the melody and chords, but I tried to keep it as true to the original structure as possible. It was a heck of a challenge, but I came out with an acoustic cover I’m really happy with!

So, what do you think? I know I don’t have 10 outfits or dance, but do you like it? Leave any comments! I love feedback. Thanks for taking a listen

It kind of has a bit of Led Zeppelin droning acoustic sound to it in my opinion. This is a cover song I’m not releasing for profit, monetization or download. I just thought it would be fun to make.

Here is my SECOND remix using the sounds from this video.

This time I added some extra Massive synths to get a more authentic dubstep/brostep sound. Abletone Live is my DAW of choice for all things Electronic Music related. The workflows make this kind of music WAYYYY simpler than it has ever been before.

Also, Brostep is such a terrible name. Let’s go with Mech-Step instead eh?

I decided to challenge myself and remix it using ONLY the samples given. No extra synthesizers, no extra drum kits, ONLY the samples from the video were used! I cut them all together, edited them down and put them all in Ableton Live where I worked some magic to make the track you are about to hear!
