Hot Girls – Hot Problems – Reverse Parody response video – Problems by Aaron Isles

Music starts at time 0:33.
Here is my “reverse parody” of the recent Youtube viral hit video Hot Girls / Problems. I decided to put a serious spin on it all and make some social commentary about videos like this instead of making it a normal cover. I skipped the bridge and removed some of it, but stayed as true to the original idea as possible. If you’ve never written a parody before, I highly recommend it. It’s more challenging than you think. I give Weird Al a lot more respect now!

I hope you like it. Please comment with whatever you think. If I get a lot of responses I’ll do a lot more covers and parodies! Who am I kidding, I’ll do them anyway, but if you respond I’ll get it done sooner 😉

In case you are living under a rock and never saw the original it’s here for reference http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__HeE6NWmDE.

LYRICS:
take a look at what we do staring at two
teenage girls who don’t have a clue

but who’s to blame fortune or fame
stare in a mirror and write down the name

we sing the songs whether or not
we know it’s wrong but won’t make it stop

then when it ends watch it again
copy and paste it to all of your friends everyone has problems too like me and you but we forgot to stop and stare into the skies, remove the disguise’ bring some humanity back to our lives

we’ve got the books, we’ve gotten too smart
but modern materials stolen our heart

pretend that we care know what is needed
nothing can change until greed is defeated

not out of pity and never to run
always remember this war can be won

people it’s time to shut down if you’re with me
united we stand but apart were just drifting everyone has problems too like me and you but we forgot to stop and stare into the skies, remove the disguise bring some humanity back to our lives

-This video falls under fair use because it is a parody providing social commentary about the previous work and its listeners.
